Invited guests at the white wedding of Afrobeats star, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, and his wife, Chioma Rowland, in Miami, United States, have been instructed not to wear white or cream outfits.
The directive was stated on the couple’s official wedding invitation, which listed the dress code for the event as black tie and evening gown.
“Dress Code: Black Tie & Evening Gown (No White or Cream),” the invite stated.
The wedding, taking place today, Sunday, August 10, has attracted top politicians, business executives and music stars from Nigeria to Miami.
Davido and Chioma legally married in March 2023, welcomed twins in the United States in October of the same year, and held their traditional wedding in Lagos in June 2024.
Today’s ceremony marks the final stage of their wedding celebrations.
