234Finance has announced the seventh edition of its Mentor Matchup Challenge (MMC 7.0), scheduled for December 4–5, 2025, at the Lagos Oriental Hotel.
The two-day event will bring together founders, investors, policymakers, and development partners from across Africa to engage in discussions centered on equitable trade and entrepreneurship under the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) framework.
In a statement released by the organisers, this year’s theme, Building Bridges for Equitable Trade, will explore approaches to restructuring trade systems in Africa to improve access and foster inclusive growth.
According to 234Finance, the platform has evolved from a closed-door mentorship event into a pan-African gathering that promotes collaboration among early and growth-stage businesses.
“MMC 7.0 will examine how African entrepreneurs can lead value creation across borders through local production, cross-border partnerships, and shared infrastructure,” the statement said.
The event is expected to host delegates from over 15 African countries and will focus on five priority sectors: Agribusiness, Energy, Manufacturing, Hospitality and Tourism, and the Creative Economy. It will feature keynote addresses, panel sessions, one-on-one mentorship, a pitching competition, and exhibitions.
Founders attending the conference will have the opportunity to connect with investors and industry leaders for potential collaboration and deal-making. Organisers say the format is designed to strengthen relationships between capital providers and entrepreneurs across the continent.
Early bird registration for MMC 7.0 opened on August 1 and will run until September 30. Tickets are being offered in Regular, VIP, SME, and Corporate Exhibitor categories.
