The relationship between Chelsea Football Club and João Felix could end very soon as the Blues have reached an agreement with Al Nassr.

Transfer news guru Fabrizio Romano confirmed the potential transfer of the Portuguese on his official X account on Sunday, July 27, 2025. According to him, Al Nassr and Chelsea have reached an agreement for the player, and João Felix has also agreed to a move to Saudi Arabia.

Benfica had expressed interest in re-signing him having negotiated a deal with Chelsea which include offers for partial economic rights (€20‑25 million) with sell-on clauses. Though he has openly expressed a desire to return home and feel comfortable again.

How much does Al-Nassr want to buy João Felix?

In the turn of events, Al‑Nassr (Saudi Pro League) reportedly made a bid of (around €45‑50 million), with Félix set to join compatriot Cristiano Ronaldo under manager Jorge Jesus on a lucrative deal.

Felix failed to live up to his potential from his days at Atlético Madrid to his loan move to Chelsea and Barcelona. The Blues sealed a permanent deal for him during the 2024 summer transfer window but he failed to break into the club’s first team scoring just one goal in 12 league games.

The midfielder also completed a loan move to AC Milan during the 2025 January transfer window to get a permanent deal but that desire failed to see the light of day. He made 15 Serie A appearances, scored 2 goals, and added 1 assist which is poor by the standard of any player.
