Globacom has teamed up with Samsung to offer its subscribers the chance to pre-order the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Flip 7 smartphones.
In addition to receiving free 18GB of data from the telecommunications firm, those who pre-order any of the stylish smartphones will also receive a variety of gifts valued at up to N1.2 million.
The partnership signing ceremony was held at Globacom’s corporate headquarters in Victoria Island, Lagos. Pre-ordering for the Fold 7, which is believed to be the lightest and thinnest model in the series to date, and the Flip 7, which has a larger cover screen and improved FlexWindow usability with Galaxy AI, started right away at the location.
Several Glo subscribers placed orders for Samsung’s newest masterpiece, apart from those who had earlier placed their orders at different GloWorld shops across the federation.
Speaking at the event, Head of Product Marketing at Samsung, Stephen Okwarah, explained how the company has developed a relationship with Globacom over the years since it has consistently provided Samsung with high subscriber sales order numbers.
For those who choose to upgrade their present phones or make the transfer to the new smartphones, he also described the enormous advantages and incredible capabilities the new devices have in store for them.
Globacom’s Head of Division (West), Abdulrazaq Ande, had earlier noted that the two devices “represent the cutting edge of mobile innovation, adding that his company was “proud to make them available exclusively at Glo retail outlets across Nigeria.”
Ande observed that the partnership “also reflects our broader commitment to innovation. With our fibre-optic expansion, and smart solutions for homes and businesses, Globacom is building the future of digital life in Nigeria – and we’re doing it with world-class partners.” He encouraged phone enthusiasts to embrace the new offerings for maximum comfort.
