To enhance gender inclusion and digital empowerment, Getbundi Education Technology, Miss Grand Ghana and Encase Consulting Nigeria have forged a partnership to provide 100 fully sponsored training slots for young Ghanaian women in digital skills.

The 100 Ghanaian women will join 1,400 other African women, aged 19 to 40 years, in a four-month (August-November) intensive training on Data Analytics and Cybersecurity in GetBundi’s TechSis 2025 initiative.

Announcing the collaboration in a joint statement, the partners said the initiative aims to harness the power of education, technology, and pageantry to transform lives and build a future where girls are not only seen but heard, skilled, and supported to lead.

The partnership, unveiled in anticipation of Miss Grand Ghana 2025, is also projected to significantly advance Ghana’s digital landscape and empower its future leaders.

The collaboration will see GetBundi – a leading government-approved EdTech platform that delivers cutting-edge STEM and digital skills education to learners across Africa – offering high-quality, curriculum-aligned training content designed to develop digital fluency and technical competence.

Similarly, Encase Consulting Nigeria – a global human capital and leadership development firm – will provide career coaching, personal development support, and practical tools to help participants thrive beyond the classroom.

On its part, Miss Grand Ghana, known for its focus on purpose-driven pageantry, will amplify the voices of these young women, using its platform to celebrate their journeys and achievements.

Commenting on the partnership, the Founder and CEO of GetBundi, Osita Oparaugo, said: “GetBundi is proud to provide the digital tools and learning environment these girls need to compete in a tech-driven world. Education is the real crown.”

National Director of Miss Grand Ghana, Abena Akuaba, said: “We believe that when we empower girls with knowledge, we ignite communities and change nations. This partnership is a bold statement of that belief.”

The Head of Media and Public Relations of Encase Consulting, Awalite Favour, shared the firm’s joy to be part of the initiative that empowers young women.

“At Encase Consulting, we’re passionate about building people. We’re honoured to stand behind this initiative that gives young women a voice, skills, and a future,” She said.

The Grand Pitch winner for Miss Grand Ghana 2025, Vanessa Obeng, a former NFL cheerleader and NBA dancer, said the partnership, particularly with Getbundi’s Tech Sis initiative, is truly groundbreaking in the tech field.

“It allows Miss Grand Ghana to transcend traditional pageantry, providing women with the essential tools to enter a booming industry. This initiative is about equipping our women with the skills needed to thrive, echoing the timeless wisdom of teaching a person to fish, ensuring they can feed themselves for a lifetime,” she said.

Applications to select the 100 Ghanaian women will open on July 1, 2025, while the training begins in August, with a public showcase planned for August 16, 2025, during the Miss Grand Ghana 2025 Grand Finale.
