Here is a full list of all winners across different categories at the recently concluded MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs) 2025.

On September 7, 2025, the 42nd annual MTV Video Music Awards lit up the UBS Arena in Elmont, New York, with LL Cool J hosting a star-studded night broadcast. Leading the nominations with 12 nods, Lady Gaga emerged as the night’s biggest winner, taking home four Moon Person trophies, including the coveted Artist of the Year.

The ceremony also paid tribute to music icons: Mariah Carey received her long-awaited Video Vanguard Award, while Busta Rhymes and Ricky Martin were honored with the inaugural Rock the Bells Visionary Award and Latin Icon Award, respectively.

Among the major competitive categories, Ariana Grande captured Video of the Year and Best Pop for “Brighter Days Ahead”, Rosé & Bruno Mars earned Song of the Year for APT., Alex Warren was crowned Best New Artist, Sabrina Carpenter secured Best Album for Short n’ Sweet, and Tyla celebrated a global win with Best Afrobeats.
