Adekunle Gold has given fans a first listen to his upcoming album Fuji with an exclusive song preview on Apple Music Radio.
The Afrobeats star, popularly known as AG Baby, appeared on the Fuji show on Apply Music Radio, on Sunday, September 28, 2025, where he played a snippet of one of the tracks set to feature on the project.
A video clip from the session showed Adekunle Gold vibing in the studio as the unreleased track played. The song blends the raw energy of traditional Fuji music with modern Afrobeats rhythms, hinting at the fresh sonic direction of his sixth studio album. Fans online quickly picked up on the clip, praising the sound and fueling anticipation for the project.
Speaking previously about Fuji, Adekunle Gold described the album as his most personal body of work yet, revealing that it has been five years in the making. The album explores themes of loss, joy, and self-discovery while paying homage to Fuji, a genre that shaped much of his musical journey.
The full project is set for release this Friday, October 3, 2025, and is already being touted as one of the year’s most anticipated Afrobeats albums.
