Afrobeats star Mr Eazi has delayed the release of his highly anticipated EP Maison Rouge, originally scheduled for September 25, to October 29.

The seven-track project, which will be released under his label emPawa Africa, is set to feature previously shared singles Casanova, Corny, and his latest drop, Love Me Now.

The project was recorded at the Hotel Maison Rouge in Cotonou, Benin, the same creative space that inspired much of his 2023 album The Evil Genius. Like his earlier work, Maison Rouge promises to spotlight Mr Eazi’s trademark vulnerable and introspective storytelling. Fans can expect a mix of playful and heartfelt tracks, including Casanova, a cheeky take on love and temptation with a Barcelona-shot video, and Corny, a mellow love song that leans into his melodic side. His song Attention, which appeared on the soundtrack of a blockbuster Formula 1 movie, also adds to the buzz surrounding this project.

The news of the rescheduled release comes during what has already been a landmark year for the artist. In July, Mr Eazi tied the knot with actress and billionaire heiress, Temi Otedola in a private wedding ceremony in Iceland, a moment that drew widespread attention across the continent. Beyond music, he has remained active in business and artist development through his emPawa Africa initiative, which continues to mentor and support rising African talent.

While no tour plans for 2025 have been confirmed yet, anticipation for Maison Rouge is growing as fans count down to October 29 to hear the next chapter of the evolving sound of Mr Eazi.
