Apostle Chibuzor Gift Chinyere, founder of Omega Power Ministries (OPM), has facilitated the international employment of four young Nigerians in Saudi Arabia’s oil industry, marking the latest milestone in his church’s long-standing youth empowerment initiatives.
The four beneficiaries, all full members of OPM, were selected following a rigorous process that began several months ago when representatives from the Saudi Arabian oil company visited Port Harcourt.
“They conducted practical tests on selected candidates at one of OPM Elders Facility after reviewing their CVs,” Apostle Chinyere said in a statement on his X account. Successful applicants were subsequently issued appointment letters and underwent medical assessments at OPM’s free specialist hospital.
Apostle Chinyere personally funded the candidates’ international passports, and the Saudi company arranged their work visas and covered their flight tickets.
“As soon as their visas came out, the oil company in Saudi Arabia paid all their flight tickets. And today, 17 September 2025, they are leaving to Saudi Arabia to earn dollars,” he said.
This initiative is part of a broader effort by OPM to promote human capacity development.
According to Apostle Chinyere, for more than 15 years running, I have been sending Nigerians overseas both for university scholarships and international job placements in different countries, fully funded through tithes and offerings in OPM Church.
The church leader said the programme reflects OPM’s commitment to empowering young Nigerians through practical opportunities that enhance skills and provide economic benefits. “Because in OPM Church we believe in human capacity development,” he added, “all glory be to God Almighty.”
