The Lagos State Government has announced that repair works on the Ozumba Mbadiwe Road will commence on Monday and end on September 21.
This was announced in a statement signed by the Lagos State Commissioner for Transportation, Oluwaseun Osiyemi, which was released on Sunday.
“The Lagos State Government has announced its plan to carry out repair works on the stretch of OzumbaMbadiwe Road from Bonny Camp junction commencing on Monday, 15th to Sunday 21st September, 2025, a duration of one week,” the statement read in part.
The commissioner added that the road repair will take place at night from 9.00 pm to 6.00 am to ensure minimal impact on traffic. Osiyemi also advised motorists and road users to exercise patience while driving through the corridor.
