Known for their sound as a perfect balance of soul and bounce, Svndaypack’s latest single, Gas You Up, cements their status as a production duo shaping the future of sound from Lagos. Riding off the success of their earlier released single, Jangilova, the duo displayed yet again how producer-led projects are redefining artist development in Africa.

Featuring Noon Dave and Soulaar, Gas You Up opens with an infectious rhythm that blends Afro-inspired percussion with genre-fluid melodies. The lyrics are catchy and familiar, with lines like “sweet like agbalumo” and “hype you up” giving the song a chant-like energy that makes it radio-ready and perfect for live performances.

With recent releases Svndaypack have flexed their ability to layer traditional Afro-inspired percussion with modern genre elements, striking a balance between authenticity and global appeal. Beyond production, what truly sets them apart is their commitment to unexpected collaborations; seen clearly in tracks like “Gas You Up” and “Jangilova”. The duo consistently push against industry norms and cliques to deliver fresh, boundary-breaking sounds.

Both Enosabor Omontuemhen and Oziren Zedomi, the svndaypack duo have stamped this single has not just dropping another song but rather a statement. Gas You Up is designed to resonate with fans while signaling the stepping into a new phase of their career and musical influence.

Like all their releases this year Gas You up was recorded at svndayCAMP, a three-day creative retreat Svndaypack hosted in Lagos earlier this year. It brought together artists like Kemuel, TAR1Q, Rukmani, SGaWD, Noon Dave, and Söulaar; artistes with different sounds, but the same hunger to build something real. What started as a writing session became something bigger. You can hear it in the track: that spark of spontaneity, the energy of people feeding off each other’s ideas. Svndaypack aren’t just making beats, they’re building bridges. And in a city as alive as Lagos, that kind of community might be the most powerful sound of all.

As svndaypark continues their impact through music their display of collaboration to make music much more than it is continues to be their focal goal. From blending their tunes to suit with modern demands they prove that artistry and craftsmanship is more than knowing but evolving.
