Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma is expected to remain at the club despite growing speculation over his future with rumours of a possible transfer to Chelsea or Man United emerging.
With his contract running until June 2026, the Italian international and his representatives are not ruling out staying in Paris, according to football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.
Romano shared on Thursday, July 31, 2025, via the social media platform X that Donnarumma is prepared to compete for his spot amid reports of Lucas Chevalier potentially joining PSG.
This wouldn’t be unfamiliar territory for the 25-year-old, who previously battled for the number one role with Keylor Navas. A final decision on his future is expected “in the next months.”
