Manchester United are reportedly ready to offer a player plus cash to RB Leipzig for Benjamin Sesko ahead of the 2025/26 season.
Transfer news expert Fabrizio Romano confirmed on his official YouTube channel on Wednesday, July 30, 2025, that Manchester United is looking to persuade RB Leipzig to agree to a deal for Benjamin Sesko.
Newcastle United are also interested in the player, but it is thought as it stands, Manchester United is Sesko’s preferred destination.
Reports from Germany have confirmed that the Bundesliga side will only listen to the deal if it involves Rasmus Hojlund. However, the player is not interested in moving to the club because of a lack of playing in Europe next season.
Manchester United are also looking at the possibility of bringing Olie Watkins but Villa are not keen on selling their forward player. The Red Devils are also paying attention to Nicolas Jackson in case they can’t seal a deal with either Sesko and Watkins.
