Meet the 15 female housemates unveiled for Big Brother Naija Season 10

As the 10th edition of Big Brother Naija kicked off this weekend, organisers have unveiled the first batch of housemates — all women.

Fifteen female contestants were introduced on Saturday night, ahead of the remaining housemates who are expected to join on Sunday.

Below are the profiles of the women competing for the N120 million grand prize:

1. Gigi Jasmine (Nicole Simon–Ogan)

Gigi Jasmine (Nicole Simon–Ogan)

31-year-old DJ and single mum, Gigi brings her Nigerian-American background and says she wants to shift culture with her beats and authenticity.

2. Ivatar (Ifeyinwa Okafor)

Ivatar (Ifeyinwa Okafor)

At 37, Ivatar is a DJ, TV host, and mother of three. She identifies as a strong blend of Yoruba and Igbo heritage and is ready to make her presence felt.

3. Zita (Elizabeth Oloruntola)

Zita (Elizabeth Oloruntola)

Zita, 24, is a UNILAG student and creative who doubles as a model, makeup artist and painter. She describes herself as fiery and fun-loving.
4. Big Soso (Sonia Amako)

Big Soso (Sonia Amako)

Lawyer and chef, Soso, 28, hails from Southern Kaduna. She says she paid her school fees by cooking and is passionate about Northern women’s representation.

5. Sultana (Farida Sultana Ibrahim)
 
A plus-size model from Adamawa, 26-year-old Sultana says she loves networking, exploring, and is ready to grow through the BBNaija experience.
6. Mide (Ayomide Iwasokun)

Actress and Lagos girl, Mide, 23, says she’s known for her intuition and realness. “I can tell when something isn’t adding up,” she said.
7. Dede (Precious Ashiogwu)

Dede, 23, is bold and competitive. She once bought her mum a house and says she values loyalty above all.
8. Doris (Doris Okorie)

Doris (Doris Okorie)

At 34, Doris is a radio host and actor who describes herself as a “firecracker.” She is ready to embrace the drama.
9. Joanna (Josephine Iwoh)

Joanna (Josephine Iwoh)

The youngest housemate at 21, Joanna is a pageant queen who says she has turned pain into power and is ready to shake things up.
10. Isabella (Esther Georgewill)

Isabella (Esther Georgewill)

Actress and mum, Isabella, 29, says she’s “sweet like honey, sharp like sting.” She’s calm but confident about making her mark.
11. Imisi (Opeyemi Ayanwale)

Imisi (Opeyemi Ayanwale)

Fashion designer and actress Imisi, 23, says growing up lonely made her assertive and honest. She wants viewers to hear her and feel her.
12. Thelma Lawson

Thelma Lawson

Thelma, 27, is a skincare entrepreneur and single mum who opened her second store while in school. She brings confidence and hustle energy.
13. Ibifubara (Ibifubara Davies)

Ibifubara (Ibifubara Davies)

Psychologist and mental health advocate, Ibifubara, 28, calls herself witty and dramatic. She’s excited to start important conversations.
14. Sabrina (Sabrina Idukpaye)

Sabrina (Sabrina Idukpaye)

Actor and TEDx speaker Sabrina, 32, has modelled for Vogue and studied at LSE. She is bringing a global perspective to the show.
15. Tracy (Uchenna Ekwe)

Tracy (Uchenna Ekwe)

Tracy, 27, calls herself weird and loyal. She says the house is her chance to escape pressure and “just breathe.”

The live show continues on DStv Channel 198, GOtv Channel 49, and Showmax. The male housemates will be introduced on Sunday night, July 27.
