Controversial street-hop singer Portable has once again stirred reactions online as his feud with Afrobeats star Davido takes a fresh turn.
The ongoing spat, which recently reignited after Davido made a subtle jab on social media, has now prompted a musical response from Portable.
Earlier, Davido clapped back at a troll on X (formerly Twitter) who mocked his family’s frequent use of the same private jet. In his response, Davido dropped a cryptic line: “All these Odogwu Bar settings”, a remark many interpreted as a dig at Portable’s popular lounge in Ogun State.
Not one to back down, Portable first responded by posting an old photo of himself and Davido, reminding fans of their previous unity. However, in a recent Instagram video, the Zazoo Zeh crooner took things a step further by composing a cheeky song addressing the situation.
In the song, Portable made it clear he wasn’t bothered by Davido’s comment. Instead, he extended an invitation to the 5ive hitmaker, suggesting he could even perform at Odogwu Bar and bring in some cash. He sang, “Nothing concern me if Davido make fun of my bar, I’m only chasing money. If he wants, he can come perform at Odogwu Bar and give me money.”
The unexpected move has kept fans talking, adding a new chapter to the pair’s public back-and-forth.
