The Federal Government has inaugurated the board members of the Federal Airport Authority of Nigeria (FAAN), with a call to prioritise airport security.

Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo, while inaugurating the board, led by the immediate past National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Abdullahi Ganduje, said it was imperative that airports, not only facilitate travel but also guarantee the safety and security of all users.

Other terms include advocating sustainable practices that would safeguard the environment for future generations while boosting the economy. The minister also harped on the need to ensure that passengers are at the centre of operations through improved service delivery, and customer satisfaction, adding that airport experience should be paramount on their agenda.

Ganduje, in his response, assured that the board would assist them in moving the ministry to the next level, promising they would study the FAAN Act to achieve international best practices.
